1. GooSync GooSync synchronize the Calendar with Google Calendar. I have tried the open-source GCalSync but it was quite horrible to use. (requiring so many key presses for each sync, and ugly sync status screen that looks like linux boot) GooSync, on the other hand, just works.

Today, I have tried the new Beta release of Opera Mini and decided to switch my mobile browsing completely to this version. When Beta 1 came out, I didn’t find enough reason to upgrade from Opera Mini 3, mainly because I like the old single-column rendering mode better than the new scaled rendering.

These are the niceties in Beta 4 that prompt me to convert:

• Better-looking rendering. (round corners, better CSS support)
• Configurable search engine choice. (Although Yahoo! Is still unconfigurably the default)
• Better speed

• Better javascript support. I have virtually no problem with Google Reader mobile now. I can’t say that for version 3.
